White House senior advisor Ivanka Trump cancelled an appearance nearby the STEM School Highlands Ranch Wednesday, saying that she didn’t want to divert resources from the deadly shooting that occurred there on Tuesday.

Per the Denver Post, the first daughter had been scheduled to discuss workplace development at Lockheed Martin.

On Tuesday, two suspects shot up the STEM School Highlands Ranch, killing at least one student and injuring eight more. Per CNN, a few students tried to tackle the gunmen as they sprayed gunfire in a classroom. Both suspects have been taken into custody. The shooting occurred just a few miles from Columbine High School, the site of one of the most infamous school shootings in American history.
