Giuliani is gearing up for a new role, planning to go after Trump’s 2020 competitors and to make political and policy connections. We’ll be watching to see how the Trump orbit shifts as his allies move into more campaign-ready roles.

A new attempt at a right-wing Twitter? 

As pro-Trumpers complain about “shadow banning” — their baseless belief that they’re being censored on major platforms like Twitter— the Trump campaign is eyeing a new, fledgling site called Parler as a digital home for 2020. Trump’s campaign manager has already started posting.

Trump is back 

Due back from Japan Tuesday afternoon, we’ll see if Trump talks to the press. He spent much of the trip tweeting about issues back home.
