Happy Tuesday, June 18. Though it may seem like President Donald Trump has been campaigning for reelection for eons, he’ll officially kick off his 2020 bid tonight in Orlando. Here’s more on that and the other stories we’re watching.

Three Things We’re Watching Today

Trump’s official 2020 campaign kicks off 

Trump will begin his 2020 campaign in earnest Tuesday night in Orlando. He’s promising that “people have never seen anything like it.” We’ll see.

Tensions heat up in Iran 

The Pentagon is sending 1,000 more troops to Iran, as tensions escalate in the wake of the oil tanker explosions. U.S. officials have been sounding the alarm on possible impending attacks against American interests. We’ll have our eye on the region.

Trump’s meltdown over the polls

The President has been on a tear since internal polls showing him losing to Joe Biden were leaked to the press. Monday evening, Trump even expressed anger at his usually favored network and its recent polling on impeachment. We’ll continue to follow Trump’s fury.
